衢州职业技术学院简介

学院坐落在国家历史文化名城——浙江省衢州市，占地面积387亩，建筑面积14万平方米，现有全日制在校学生5800余人，成人学历教育学生3000余人。学院拥有一支适应高等职业技术教育的师资队伍，现有教职员工359人，其中专任教师226人，教授、副教授和高级工程师80人，硕士学位以上教师120人。各类教学仪器设备总值4282万元，馆藏图书近44.8万册、专业期刊近700种，建有清华同方学术期刊等封闭镜像站(数据库)7个。

学院设有医学院、艺术设计学院、经济管理学院、信息工程学院、机电工程学院等五个二级学院和一个继续教育学院，现已开设机械制造、电子信息、护理、艺术设计、应用英语及会计等20个高职专业，其中艺术设计专业、护理专业和应用电子技术专业为省级重点、特色专业;《健康评估》、《数学教育学》、《网络数据库技术》、《汽车机械基础》、《中级财务会计》等一批课程为省级精品课程。学院十分重视对学生的技能培养，建有护理、艺术设计、电工电子、软件应用技术、电气工、汽车技术、机械工程、财经等集教学、培训、技能鉴定与技术服务为一体的校内实训基地，并积极推进校内生产性实训基地建设，其中护理实训基地为省级示范性实训基地。同时，还主动与学校、医院、公司等企事业单位合作，先后建立100多个校外实训基地。

学院以适应现代化建设需要和满足社会需求为导向，着力培养学生的职业能力和整体素质。毕业生专业基础扎实，就业适应性强，具有开拓创新精神。近几年学生就业率稳中有升，98%以上的毕业生实现当年就业，且就业层次逐年提高，是浙江省普通高校毕业生就业工作优秀单位。

学院根据省教育厅有关“建立人才成长立交桥”的政策和规定，各专业优秀毕业生经本人申请，参加考试，可进入普通本科院校学习。

Introduction to QuzhouCollegeof TechnologyQuzhou College of Technology (QZCT) is a publicly funded vocational college for full-time education, mainly focusing on the cultivation of skilled talents with high standards and qualifications on the front line of production, construction, management and services as well.

The college is located in the historically and culturally renowned city ofQuzhouinZhejiangProvince. It covers an area of 26 hectares, with a total floor space of 140,000 square meters. At present, there are over 5,800 full-time students and over 3,000 other types of registered students in various programs. It has a staff of 359 with a faculty of 226, of which, 80 are professors or associate professors, and 120 have master’s degree or above. All the equipment for teaching and research is worth RMB 42,820,000. The library has a total collection of 448,000 books, 700 kinds of professional journals, and 7 databases of academic resources.

Within QZCT, there are 6 faculties: The Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Art and Design, the Faculty of Economics and Management, the Faculty of Electronics and Information Engineering, the Faculty of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, and theSchoolofFurther Education. The faculties cater to 20 specialties including Machinery Manufacturing, Electronics & Information Engineering, Nursing, Art & Design, Applied English, and Accounting.

We place high priority on the construction of the specialties and courses. The specialties of Art & Design, Nursing, and Applied Electronic Technology have been enlisted as Key Specialty or Specialty with Distinct Characteristics of Zhejiang Province. A list of courses have been approved as Excellent Courses of Zhejiang Province, among which are Health Assessment, Mathematics Education, Web Database Technology, Fundamentals of Automobile Mechanics, and Intermediate Financial Accounting. Great emphasis has also been put on the development of students’ practical skills. We have established on-campus practical training bases which integrate teaching, training, occupational skill testing for the areas of Nursing, Art & Design, Electrical & Electronic Technology, Software Application Technology, Automotive Technology, Machinery Engineering, and Finance & Economics. Among the on-campus practical training bases the Practical Training Base for Nursing Majors is the Demonstrative Practical Training Base of Zhejiang Province. The college takes the initiative to cooperate with schools, hospitals, companies and government bodies and set up more than 100 off-campus practical training bases.

Endeavored to meet the needs of modern society and guided by the demands of society, the college makes great efforts to cultivate the vocational competencies and overall qualities of the students. In the past several years, more than 98 percent of the graduates have been employed upon graduation and highly praised for their professionalism, pioneering spirits and good adaptability. The college has been praised by Department of Education ofZhejiangProvincefor its excellent work on the promotion of graduates’ employment. According to Department of Education ofZhejiangProvince, excellent graduates of our college could further their study in undergraduate universities if they pass the provincial admission examination.
